Tim Bergling (born 8 September 1989), known professionally as Avicii, Tim Berg and Tom Hangs, is a DJ, remixer, and record producer sueco.
His single Bromance (recorded and offered for sale under the name “Tim Berg”) made it into the top 20 in Belgium, the Netherlands and his native Sweden. A vocal version called Seek Bromance with Amanda Wilson, was put up for sale shortly after reaching the UK Singles Chart and peaking at # 1 on Beatport international. He has subsequently released several singles as Fade Into Darkness (contains samples of Perpetuum Mobile), My Feelings for You, Street Dancer, and Tweet It among others. Its worldwide recognition come in 2011, when he made a sampling of the song gospel 1963, “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” by Etta James at his success Levels, which managed to enter the charts in the world and obtained numerous certifications. In that same year founded his own label LE7ELS. In 2013 he got his first number one in the UK thanks to I Could Be the One, a collaboration by the Dutch DJ and producer Nicky Romero.
