In 1996 Ferry Corsten reached the number 46 position in the music listings

in the UK with his remix of “Do not Be Afraid” under the name Moonman which gave him some notoriety. The following year, Corsten and his partner Robert Smith founded the Tsunami label with the help of dance music company called Purple Eye Entertainment and these two individuals recently founded another label called Polar State. Since the founding of Tsunami, Corsten has been involved with compiling and mixing the tracks included on the Trance Nation Ministry of Sound (series that has sold millions of copies worldwide) series.
